Hi there everyone! My name is Amanda and I love to save money. Who doesn't? I wish I could give you a magic formula that will take away all of your financial troubles, unfortunately I cannot. BUT, what I can do is help you find small, simple, yet efficient ways to keep some extra green in your pocket.
Here's a little background about myself: I am 26 years old and married, no kids. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Utah State University in 2014 and I am currently working as a full time hospice social worker (hospice is a type of care that assists those who are terminally ill). My husband, Kyle, is currently going to school for Mechanical Engineering and has one year left. We are currently trying to save up for a house but that's kinda hard when you have to fork out thousands of dollars every semester for tuition.........from a social worker's salary (it will be worth it when he's done, right?). So, my husband and I try to be creative with the ways we save money so we're not stretched so thin financially.
Having a nicely decorated and welcoming home is important to me. Decorating your own place can be SOOOOO expensive though. I am never willing to pay full price for, well, anything. And you know what? I get away with it. And I'm going to teach you how you can too. I'll teach you how to keep your home decorated for a fraction of what craft stores want you to pay. I will teach you how build things yourself. I will teach you how to save money. I will teach you that you can make anything!
